Fiona and David aren't originally from around here but a long time ago we were so enchanted by this magical and unique part of the world that we had to up-sticks and move south of the Tamar.
Cornwall is not just our home, it's our soul mate.
Let us help you let Cornwall engulf your life.

Question
Answer
Which parts of the course have you found most interesting or engaging, and why?
The 2nd assessment was of most interest to me so far. Learning the different theories and how they would used and adapted to the client. As I hope to become a professional counsellor I found this interesting to begin to understand how each theory is best adapted to wards different challenges and thinking which theory I found most relevant to my way of thinking.
What new knowledge or skills have you gained since starting the course?
A basic knowledge of counselling and a more indepth insight into its different theories and practices.
A new way of talking to people and discovering a greater empathy and an ability to put myself into another person place and understanding another persons viewpoint. Renewed my skills in writing and consolidating content.
How confident do you feel in your understanding and progress so far?
A feel confident that I have researched the information given in the course and am progressing.
What areas have you improved in, and where do you feel you need more practice or support?
Writing answers to questions posed. I have been out of education for 43 years and feel I need more practice and support knowing whether my answers are in the correct format, not to short or to long and are concise enough but on point.
What goals or actions would help you continue building your confidence and skills for the rest of the course?
More practical work. More self analysis. Receiving feedback regarding my answers.
